What “play and earn” means for an MMORPG player
An MMORPG session is about a persistent character, a shared world and the people you play with. Play With Purpose is a separate Overwolf companion: scan eligible on-screen targets and manage the companion rewards in your own inventory. The items are part of this service, not equipment for your MMORPG character.

Does playing an MMORPG automatically earn money?
No. Time played alone is not a promise of rewards or income. Scans have eligibility rules, paid scans consume cTokens, and trial items are not eligible for wallet resale.
How does trial mode differ from paid scanning?
Trial mode is a way to try the companion without spending cTokens. Trial drops cannot be sold to the wallet, even after a player-to-player trade. Paid scans use cTokens and do not guarantee a particular reward.
Can I sell or equip a listed item?
An item listed on the player marketplace is reserved and unequipped. Cancel the listing from inventory or your marketplace card to unlock the item. Auctions with bids cannot be cancelled.
Where do I check supported games and gift code regions?
Use the setup guide to check game compatibility. Review both region and platform when choosing gift code preferences; redemption restrictions vary by product.
